In an effort to increase partner investment in the cloud, Microsoft has also announced improvements for existing programs. For example, the company debuted new features for its Microsoft Teams workplace collaboration tool. Furthermore, Teams is now available to Office 365 ProPlus users. Microsoft also confirmed Teams now has over 13 million daily active users, pointing to its continued success over rival Slack. In its Dynamics 365 division, Microsoft discusses new tools coming to the platform. Updates have also been made to the Nonprofit Accelerator in Dynamics 365. Microsoft also confirmed the Business Applications ISV Connect program is now widely available. Microsoft also announced the following new programs:
Introducing Azure Lighthouse. Azure Lighthouse gives partners a single control plane to view and manage Azure at scale across all their customers. This provides a better managed Azure experience with higher automation and efficiency, resulting in greater visibility and security for customers. This marks the first time Microsoft has architected a solution at this scale, with partners and for partners. Azure Migration Program. The new Azure Migration Program (AMP) helps customers accelerate their migration to Azure. AMP offers proactive advice and tools to help mitigate risks and address common issues associated with moving workloads to the cloud.
Strengthening Partner Relationships
Microsoft also discussed how it is increasing opportunities it provides to partners. Of course, that’s mostly the point behind the Ignite conference, which connects Microsoft with its partners. The company says its Microsoft Security service is now generally available and provides more profitability to collaborators and customers.
